This brush is an overall good horse brush! The only downside is the bristles are a little too soft but otherwise it works well.

Wanted a brush that beats the standard metal prongs, and this is it. Well made and worth the money when compared to others on the market.The bristles are tight together, of medium flexibility, and decently applied to the wooden hand base. The strap is a bit too large for my hand, but I'm a small framed guy. Works great on short haired dogs and they love it! Our Golden needs something a bit deeper, so this is used after the detangler brush. It's soft enough for the face, just use the edge of the brush. Easy to clean also, I use a common people comb to clean the bristles (old one) and that works great. It can also be shampooed for base cleaning provided it's shaken free of water before allowing it too fully dry. It's a great addition to the grooming routine for a low expense.

Finally a brush like the ones I grew up with. Solid, light, great size and shape for grip. Bristles are gentle, yet effective - even for the face!Collects grease and hairs well. Washes easily and dries quickly, which is great during shedding season when brushes can get super cruddy after 1-2 uses.My favourite brush, will definitely buy again.

I thought this brush would be stiffer than it is... I can't really use it for a first pass on my horse if he is at all dirty. It is nice for finishing, but not good for the initial dirt removal.
