Great fitting dressage girth that is flexible and comfortable for the horse, yet affordable. I have 2 horses 18+ Hands and bought a 28" and 30". They do not like the stiffness of leather which is why I like these girths much better.

No elastic at all makes a slightly unusual girth very difficult to put on. I ordered the size my pony wears in all other girths, and was unable to attach it. Like the look, but had to send it back

Nice girth, a lot of quality for a very reasonable price

I love this girth! Great value for the price! I looked forever for a girth that would fit my small pony and I ordered the 14” and it fit perfectly! Nicely made and well worth the money! I may even get one for my larger horse.

Not a good design

I recently purchased a used dressage saddle which came with a girth. The girth was a little too large for my horse but as a trial, I used it. The leather on the girth was stiff and awkward - it ended up causing a minor case of girth gall. I did some research and liked the reviews on Intrepid International's PVC Dressage Girth. As soon as it arrived, I knew it would be fantastic to use. It's VERY flexible and molds to the horse which adds comfort. My horse was a little cinchy after using that original girth but seems more comfortable and relaxed when I'm cinching with this girth. I'm still getting used to the buckle system - it's strange in comparison to the girths that have elastic. Overall, I am very pleased with this girth. It's true to size, flexible, comfortable for the horse, and I don't have to worry about the upkeep of leather! I would recommend this product.

Well worth the money!

This girth seems to be very comfortable for my fussy 12 year old mare. She is sensitive with leather girths so I decided to try the softer and more flexible pvc. I liked the buckle configuration on this model. She has not protested at all when tacking up. Her movement is not constricted. There is no sign of irritation. The pvc is an improvement over old school leather girths. I don't know yet about durability. However, at this price point I will keep her in comfort and replace it whenever necessary. Nice product Update: I have been using this girth for six months. I do use a large saddle pad and make sure that the corners (at the ends of the girth) are on top of the pad to maximize comfort for my horse. I am impressed by the buckles which roll very easily against billet straps. The design accommodates and adjusts to my horses' anatomy. This is a comfortable, durable, well-designed and well-made product. I would buy it again.

It looked like the perfect girth for my husband's Arabian mare, who seems to have trouble with rubbing on long rides (25-50 miles). Unfortunately, we didn't get to use it, because I didn't notice that it didn't have a D-ring, so we had to return it. We ended up going with a sheepskin Toklat. I gave it 5 stars, because it really looked like it would work, and it is the only way I could comment.
