This Hydronix SWC-25-1005 string wound filter is made of polypropylene fiber cord, has a particle retention size of 5 micron, and is used in a water filtration system. This filter has an outside diameter (OD) of 2.5" and overall length of 10". It is made of polypropylene fiber cord which can be sterilized, has dimensional stability, and is resistance to most chemicals. Polypropylene filters are useful in residential and commercial applications for reducing scale particles, dirt, rust, sand and silt in water. This filter can withstand temperatures ranging from 40 to 165 degrees F. This string-wound filter is suitable for use in water filtration systems including residential and commercial applications that use well and municipal water sources.
