Wanted to try an alternative to plastic bottles, and this actually feels nice. Hair is pretty soft after shower. Love that the ingredients going down the drain are more eco-friendly than most conditioners.

I've been using these bars for a little over a month I used a different one each week after I got them. I have a lot of medium to fine, straight brown hair. My hair is clean and soft. The shampoo bar lathers well but the conditioner bar doesn't feel like it's going on my hair so I find myself rubbing it on multiple times. However, when I rinse the conditioner bar out my hair feels nice and slick so I know it is going on. It rinses out well. These trial bars aren't much bigger than a quarter and are awesome for travel. They will last a while. I don't notice much difference between the different bars in how my hair feels. However, I find myself reaching for the blue one more often now. The scent is mild for each bar which I appreciate. Nothing overwhelming but my husband says I smell good. My hair is short so I can't really smell it on my own. Lol.

It's a miracle worker with making your hair feel soft after using a shampoo bar which can leave your hair feeling dry and waxy and impossible to brush. BUT, it was so difficult to get it to spread onto the hair. I bought it for my child and I had to put in a lot of elbow grease when applying it to her hair. All conditioner bars are like this, but I thought the shape would make it easier to apply. Anyway, great bar, smells fabulous, difficult to apply.

I was a bit surprised by the smaller size, but I can see that they will last a while. The smell and texture is nice, however after rinsing and drying my hair feels weighed down. I used maintain first (for straight or wavy hair) and my wavy hair did not have its usual volume and got oily quickly. The volumize bar weighed my hair down less but my hair still did not have its usual volume and felt dirty and oily quicker. These bars would be perfect for dry and maybe normal hair. My hair is wavy and on the thicker side, and it tends to be oily so it did not love the intense moisture.

I started using this and the shampoo to decrease our plastic use. What a great find! My hair is naturally grey but processed with toner and highlights and can feel dry yet the day after washing be limp and oily. This gives me great volume, softness, styles great but best of all, I can go every other day or every third day without washing and my hair still looks good. Great find!The only cons is that the color of the conditioner and shampoo are so close I have to make sure they are set in same place in shower to grab the right one. Would prefer a greater difference but that is a small thing. It isn't really perfummy, and I like that. Smells like clean soap.

Wasn't too impressed. It was not super hydrating on my hair type at least (straight, med thickness), and was hard to get onto my hair (or at least was hard to tell if it even got onto my hair). The fragrance was extremely off-putting as well. I normally use up products that don't work as I expected before purchasing something new, so I at least don't have to toss them. This was such a strong, horrid smell that bothered my allergies, I just had to get rid of it.

I love the light fresh smell of this conditioner and it leaves my hair nice and soft. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the shape of the bar makes it difficult to use. I think it would be easier if it were shaped more like a bar of soap. I tried holding my hair in one palm and rubbing the slanted top part of the bar on it but that wasn't really working so I ended up just rubbing the bar in my hands and then working that through my hair. It takes a while to get it through all my hair which is fairly long. The extra effort is worth it to have a good product that doesn't have any plastic packaging.
