I should have done a better job of reading the description and the reviews. I really wanted the original version, and this is just a pared down version of the original game. Only 3 pieces per color, instead of the original 4. And the rules are incredibly simplified. :-( I'm bummed

Was looking good for the Parker brothers edition 1997. Which has the four pawns. The new sorry on the shelves in local stores are totally different. Was so glad the one I ordered was similar to the 1997 edition.

This is the real original Sorry game. After receiving the Fire and Ice version as a gift and not liking it at all, we were determined to find the original. My family loves it.

Who doesn't like the game sorry. Arrived quickly. My only complaint would be that the plastic wrap covering the game was ripped in places and where it was a gift that had to be taken off before wrapping
