I needed something that didn't have a big brand name, and this simple black jacket did the job. The first time I bought this jacket, I ordered it in a size X-Large. The jacket was light and would keep me warm when needed. I could also wear this jacket when the temperature was not as low outside. I liked the look of it so much that I ended up buying the same size in a color, maroon, later on. The material tends to stay soft and comfortable for the most part. The material does degrade and becomes a bit less soft with time. It's not really an issue, but I did want to bring that up for anyone curious. I didn't notice the difference until I ordered another one from them the following year (February 2024). For the most part, this is a good zip-up jacket. The only downside I could say about it is that it's a 50/50 cotton polyester blend, but that is already stated in the product details.

It looks and fits great, lightweight, but the problem is it's cheaply made. The inside fleece lining leaves lint and fuzz all over the shirt you wear underneath.

The material is great, but the sleeves are very long for a short guy. It would help us successfully select size if HANES would provide the lengths of the sweatshirt and its sleeves.

Pockets are very shallow and it's easy for things to fall out. Kinda thin compared to an old hoodie I have, maybe that's the shrinkflation factor. A wee bit on the long side too.
