Create see-through projects that enable you to see parts, sensors, or displays while protecting them with this flame rated UL94-HB ABS plastic enclosure. It's ideal for use as an electronic instrument enclosure, with four standoffs in the base and four in the lid for securing PC boards and other components.

Use this translucent blue enclosure to build you next DIY project that has a built-in display or IR sensor. Normally you have to cut out a window and buy a see through cover to protect the display or sensor. This enclosure eliminates that issue using UL94-HB blue translucent ABS plastic. The lap joint two piece construction provides IP54 protection against access of dust and splashing water. Don't worry about stripping out the screw holes, because this enclosure has four integral brass bushings that accept M3 x 10 mm black Phillips machine screws (included) for securing the lid.
The project box's internal 3.18" x 2.03" x 0.91" dimensions not including the screw and standoff post. The eight internal standoffs are 1/4" deep and accept #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws (sold separately). See attached technical drawing for more detailed information.
