Worked perfectly to connect my Wii to my Sony A80J OLED, picture quality was really impressive. Coming from the original AV cables, definitely a massive step up. Not sure how it would compare to the official 480p cable, though, but this seems to work great.

The cord itself is fine, and I'm honesty not sure if it's the cord or just the technology (or lack thereof), but when we play the wii on our Google tv, it blacks out-more and more as time goes in (I'm assuming heat makes it worse). It gets the job done but if you're competitive or serious about your wii games, idk if I'd get this cord bc it could turn your game around pretty quickly-thankfully we just play games with our kids so it's not very serious!

This cable looks and sounds great for converting the Wii to HDMI with perfect quality including some emulated retro games that specifically had poor sound quality. Specifically, Mario Party 2 (the Wii emulating a Nintendo 64) had bad sound quality and this cable resolve it with perfect quality.

I turned it on, it worked great the first time although it was in 4:3. I guess that's what it defaults to. The second time I turned it on a screeching sound can be heard from the tv while the video cuts in and out periodically. It almost acts like the old RCA cables when you swapped the video and audio plugs. Don't know if I just got a defective cord.

This is a really good way to hook a Wii up to a modern TV through HDMI. You're not going to get crystal-clear quality as the Wii only outputs in 480p and this device doesn't do any fancy upscaling but I say it looks very nice.

This product will change the way you look at your wiiThe quality difference is amazing especially when playing GameCube games. The image looks less fuzzy and more sharp. No lag and no problems with the audio.It's also not like other hyperkin cord where it needs to be plugged into an a outlet. It just plugs right into the wii and the tv.Obviously this isn't a line doubler or a scaler so the larger the tv the quality will start to decline. For reference I have a 52” Tv and the quality is genuinely 2 to 3 times more clear compared to the original component cables.Also I see other reviews mentioning the fact that it only outputs into 4:3. I initially thought this at first as well. But after looking in to it for a bit you can actually change this. First by putting your wii on 16:9 then putting the actual tv settings to 16:9. Before you say that your tv is already 16:9 standard, I thought that mine was too and I found you can change the ratio per input on the tv. So make sure you check that as well.All in all I 100 recommend this product if you are looking for something that will make your wii and GameCube games look better.
