This cleaner just works! Simple and brilliant idea.I do not have any issues with it scratching my tank surface like others do. Before you perform any surface cleaning, just make sure nothing that scratches the tank (for example, a pebble) is caught on the scrubber.I have a 5 gallon tank and this is the perfect size for it. If you have larger tank, it is better to get a larger size Mag-Float.Until then, peace to all, happy shopping!

This is the perfect size for my 6 gallon tank. It cleans 10 times better than I expected & is easy to use (and hide). The magnet floats, so that if you want to change sides of the tank (or go from side to top), you can easily transfer it without putting your hand in the water to move it. One of the coolest items I have ever bought.

Product works okay. Seems to not clean as evenly as I'd like, required a lot of back and forth action. It also seems like it may be scratching my little tank. It's a small tank so perhaps not really acrylic and just a cheaper plastic. Works well enough for my 5 gallon tank though.

Scrub side should be a bit stiffer. We enjoy our fish so whoever feeds them that day will use this for about 5 minutes to do daily maintenance. But we still have to get the single edge razor out to do a real good job. 50 Gallon Acrylic Tank, before once every two weeks had to hit it with the razor with this every six weeks or so.

I bought this to help keep the water-line clean along the top of my turtle tank. It is a little too small to get the full job done but that's my fault for buying the smallest one they offer. I have been using it for over a year now and it hasn't been worn down at all. My turtle bites it like crazy when i clean his tank and we use it as a toy for him to swim after. So it works to clean and its a great form of entertainment for him. Its a win, win.

There's velcro on the inside which I think is there for scraping, but my boyfriend thinks there's supposed to be more peices to it. In either case, it works great and doesn't scratch acrylic.

I have a 2 1/2 gallon aquarium in which is housed a single male Betta. The aquarium actually gets too much light and so algae is a constant challenge. My wife even complianed about the green growth on the glass. I used a large magnetic glass cleaner and nearly tore the small tank off the shelf it was on. I needed a smaller magnet cleaner and this product fit the bill perfectly. It cleans the algae with no problem and does not disturb the placement of the aquraium whatsover when used as instructed. Thanks.
