I've only been playing for eight months and have only played with the Paddletek Phoenix Pro. I went from missing a good number of shots to missing nothing. My biggest enemy now is my footwork and mental game. I've gotten comments like 34;You are so FAST34; and 34;I don't know how you DO THAT?34; and 34;How are you generating so much SPIN?34;. Honestly, I contribute it all to this paddle. I have a Table Tennis background and this paddle is about the weight of a Table Tennis bat. I am giving this one to my wife and getting the Neutron which is even lighter (I know I know but the difference is so slight she will never tell the difference). Know going in that this is not a Power paddle but much more of a control and spin one. It is incredibly thin and light. It being thin is what I like the most. It allows for unparalleled maneuverability and reaction time more akin to ping pong. The textured face gives you crazy control and spin (so fun for a ping pong player) and I feel the removal of the bevel extends the play area and makes the spin that much easier.. This Paddle has revolutionized my game. Thank you Gamma!

The 2.0 is the paddle w/ a rough surface to assist in spins. I can place some crazy spin on the ball. I like the paddle. You could use it for a beginner to advance player. I like the grip. I would rate it a 8.5 out of 10. not to heavy. Paid 39.95
