Product Description

Filament Power Transformer with Cover 120-220-230V 6.3v at 4A **Made in the USA**
Primaries:
black + brown= 120V
black + red= 220V
black + orange= 230V

Secondaries:
6.3V w/ center tap.

This transformer is one that would be a perfect replacement filament transformer in the event that you burned up the 6.3V secondary on your stock transformer and you don't want to pay a lot of money for a replacement at the time. Or if you just want to keep all of the "original" parts in place. Also, if you want to add more preamp or power tubes to add to a current design, if your stock transformer is working at the limits of the current rating. Then, of course, for project builders that need an auxiliary transformer for a particular amp to raise the current rating (up to 4A) for your particular amp design. Also, it would work for extra pilot lights and our LVS power supply to provide 9V DC for powering effects. You can also use this transformer for 6L6 to EL34 or 6550 conversions.
