The extra strength of the 66% isopropyl alcohol meets the FDA's alcohol concentration percentage recommendation for the greatest germicidal efficiency (Food and Drug Administration. (1994). Topical antimicrobial products for over-the-counter use; tentative final monograph for healthcare antiseptic drug products. Federal Register, 59, 31221-31222.) Squeeze product in palm and massage briskly until product dries. 16 oz bottle size.
Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to get rid of germs in most situations. If soap and water are not readily available, you can use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. You can tell if the sanitizer contains at least 60% alcohol by looking at the product label.
