All parts made well and easily hold material. Work well with stands that hold various size projects.

Very well made, the rods are very smooth and the clamp helps hold material tight.

The new clamp system works very well to keep my needlepoint in place. Makes working evenly easy, although I did buy a stand to hold it to alleviate upper back strain. I really like this bar frame!

Great product and so easy to use. Would have liked the wooden balls at the end of the rods that looked pretty, however got black plastic tighteners

I love crossstitch, and have not done it in a while. It's time consuming and when I was young with kiddos to chase it was just difficult to work on. I still had a small metal hoop from my childhood, but I was never a fan. I had never bothered to see if there was anything different, however, I also quilt and was looking at long arms. This kinda reminded me of that concept, but on a smaller scale. I never even knew these existed but saw picture of someone working on a crossstitch on a frame and thought, wow what a great idea. I added a basting grid on my fabric for accuracy and got her loaded and ready to go easily. I also picked up the stand. At my age magnification helps too, but I am really looking forward to my next project. The plastic clips are tight at first and a little challenging to get on and off, but I expected that. They will loosen up after a few uses, the clips on my long arm were the same. I am really pleased with the set up and looking forward to using it. I might not have picked up new hand work without having such a great frame to work with.

I liked the quality and it isn't heavy. Easy to scroll the fabric around the frame. I'm presently using it to hold my cross stitch fabric. Also like that it came with 2 sizes.

I previously used bars that you actual had to sew the project to the fabric. Too time, not easy, but kept the project very taut. Then I used the bar/clamp system that had a split bar and screw to clamp. That was very difficult to align properly and keep tight. Quit that real quickly. This Edmunds handi-clamp is very easy to use and align properly, and takes very little time. The only issue is that it doesn't keep the project as taut as I would like, but good enough. The other thing that only time will tell, is that the plastic clamps and whether the will lose their tightness over time being taken on and off. For now, love it (mostly). I would buy again.

Great to have the various sizes available. Not enough hours in the day to do all the projects I want! :)

One of the upsides to using a scroll frame is that you don't constantly have to move around your frame as you work. I love that about this item and when I do need to adjust, it's super simple and fast. It also does not damage any of your stitches. This frame also holds your fabric nice and taught and doesn't slip like some PVC frames do. The downside is that it does take time to get used to holding it (if you don't have a stand like me). Sometimes it can be awkward to hold.

The bars are a tad bit off which makes rolling the needlepoint canvas a little difficult. The knobs don’t hold so I am constantly having to tighten them.

I have only ever previously used split rail cross stitch frames and finally decided to take the plunge and get this and oh my gosh these are 100x better than any split rail apparatus!! It keeps my work sooooo much tighter! If you're considering making the switch I highly recommend these!
