I've been looking at receiver hitches for my truck for a few weeks now. I decided to buy this one because of the towing capacity rating and this thing is built like a tank! Just go ahead and buy it and don't waste time looking at anything else! Oh yeah, you can turn the ball around out of the way so it doesn't destroy your knee cap too!

Very nice hitch for the money. I'll keep it rust free by adding a little oil to the chrome pins once in a while. That seems to be the biggest complaint.Note: Part numbers in the description might be confusing. Returned the 6” drop hitch thinking it would be the 10” drop due to the reversed part numbers. So the cheaper one will be the 6” drop ($199 at the time) and the more expensive one will be the 10” drop ($209 at the time).Locking pin set for the Hitch and Ball mount is Fastway 86-00-4225.

hole was 1/2 shy of reaching the hole of my receiver. A flap disc and 5 min made it fit perfectly...so probably a better /quieter result being it was custom fit.

I really like this hitch it's very flexible and heavy duty. It would have been over the top purchase if it came with one locking pin for the balls. It's a different size than the one for the hitch. Bought a generic set of locks I liked assuming the ball pins were standard. Wouldn't worry but people steal things and it looks like the ball portion is difficult or impossible to replace if stolen.

Hitch arrived re boxed and original box was destroyed!! Hitch is missing the two pins that hold the double ball to the hitch. Can't be used without them....

It's heavy as hell but for the price you get a very heavy duty hitch for less than the aluminum ones and since my truck it black it just goes well with it. My only semi negative thought is when your not using it, storing it in the truck really doesn't work for me since I use most of my under seat storage already and because it's so heavy I don't like to just leave it on my floor so I have to leave it in the garage.
