My amp tech told me that I need to match my 67 Bassman's 4 ohm output with a 4 ohm speaker because I'm only using one 1234; now instead of the two 8 ohm speakers normally in the Bassman's cabinet. The new speaker sounds similar to the old one except with more frequency range on highs and lows. Not quite as smooth as my 35 year old square magnet Eminence speaker, but like most new speakers it should smooth out more as it breaks in with time. I'm still an Eminence fan when it comes to guitar speakers. I prefer over the Celestions I've tried. Delivered promptly and in good shape.
