What's not to like,. The right amount of Lowe's mids and highs and chugs tight and big and handles what you push into it,. My new favorite speaker.

Way better than the classic v30s this has a wider range than just the normal scooped mids you get from celestion, definitely worth the purchase

This is my first assembly of my own speaker cab. I checked reviews of this vs vintage 30 and I was liking what I heard. Now that I set it up, I am hoping to do another one with a vintage 30. My only experience with vintage 30's was in the studioMesa Boogie 4x12. I can't actually say if one sounds better than the other. I haven't tried them in my own comparisons, and that is personal opinions anyway. I am well pleased with the DV-77.
