To place, start from back of toilet seat, just above where the lid meets the rim. Push down firmly, keeping that hand in place on the back while you move around the circumference of seat with the other, pushing straight down as you go until the seat snaps into place. Upon first use toilet seat may be rigid and harder to place, but with each application becomes more flexible.

Seems like its probably ok for the price but I have yet to find a 5 gallon bucket that it fits on. Disappointed.

The description said it snaps onto any 5 gallon bucket. The bucket I planned to use it with is just an ordinary 5 gallon bucket I bought from Walmart. It doesn't fit. It's too small. But what I did was use pliers to bend the edges of the bucket top inward and now it fits great. But, for the money, I shouldn't have had to do anything extra to make fit. Also, I use ordinary trash bags with a little CampaChem to control odors. I'm a female trucker and this comes in handy at night or when there is no bathroom available.
