This is a great pair of flush cutters for small work. I do a LOT of wire wrapping of jewelry and these are my favorite tool for the job. I've bought a few different brands in similar sizes but this one is my fav!

This looks a my 3rd pair of flush cutters. The previous units from other brands worked fine, they just got dull over time. I suspect it'll be the same with these. They are easy to hold and sharp. As with most items in this genre, they are best at cutting soft metals.

I've been through a lot of wire cutters making jewelry and these are exactly what I've been needing to replace my last set of cutters that weren't quite small or sharp enough for super close-cuts for fine details like half round wire.

What can I say? Too them out of the package, one of the cutters snapped off with the first tiny wire and flew in my face; fortunately I was wearing a loupe. Typical Chinese junk.

    These are excellent quality and can cut very close to the material unlike diagonal wire cutters. They are ground very will with only a very, very minor grind imperfection at the tip that doesn't seem to affect operation.

    I like how sharp these are. They cut very nicely, but I wish the jaws opened wider. I cut a lot of low density polyethelene 1/4 plastic tubing, which is really soft -- softer than the copper wires these cutters are supposedly meant for. But because these dont open wide enough, I have to smash the 1/4 tubing flat before I can get a good bite on it.

    Reasonably priced and sharp. Problem is that they don't have a clip or something to keep them closed, so you have to keep in packaging they came with or get a strong rubber band to keep closed so you dont cut yourself
