Buying online, without trying is always a risky business, but in my case this was like a tailor made jacket.Longer in the back is a practical feature, plenty of pockets, robust construction. It is not as light and warm as a down jacket but on the other hand it will not melt near a flame or hot object, also I can hardly imagine how it could be torn (a reviewer mentioned it could stop a grizzly attack).

I'm 6'3, 218. Normally can fit a large, but like a large tall. Dried I has had any of that size in stock, so went with the xtra large tall. Glad I did. These jacket do run a little small. Washed it twice in hot water and dried it on high. Fits perfect! Well made. Softer duck than Carhartt, but still well made. Love it!

Got XL, but it proved to be way too big. So, I got L. There is a charge to return it, nothing too crazy.Large fits great, I'm 5.10, 198 pounds.Very comfy!

I like everything about it, especially the lower back that doesn't roll up if I'm driving a truck or tractor for a few hours. Sometimes it feels a little short on my torso, but I can live with it. This was my first non-carhartt outer wear purchase and I am pleased.

This is a great coat at a great price. The duck material is thick and rugged, and the color is great. The sleeves are also really well designed. They have elastic fabric at your wrists that is covered by the sleeve. This makes them really warm and great for working with your hands. The coat is well sized to allow full movement. The waist is curved, longer in the back that in the front. This allows you to bend over to work and pick things up while not exposing your lower back. The ONLY reason this coat didn't get a 5-star rating is because when zipped all the way up, the neck opening is too loose around your neck. For me, this is not as warm as I would like on a cold winter day. I would give the coat a 4.5-star rating if I could.

I've been using this jacket for a lot of outdoor work and it's held up very well. Keeps you warm, can fit a sweatshirt underneath, and is still comfortable in the cooler parts of fall and spring. I'll definitely come back to Dri Duck once I wear through this one. Fits well and looks good for wearing around once you clean the mud off of it.
