Easily convert existing tennis or basketball courts to pickleball courts with these easy-to-install surface mount posts. Surface mount posts are gaining popularity since ground sleeves are not required for installation.
These 36" high posts boast all the features of the classic in-ground Premier™ SQ posts except they offer a heavy-duty bottom welded base plate to secure posts to the concrete court surface. The Premier square pickleball post meets official USAPA Tournament Regulations.
The surface mount pickleball net posts measure 36" in length. The steel base plate measures 7" x 7".
These 3" square pickleball posts are constructed from heavy-duty 11-gauge steel and welded to a thick base plate to secure posts to the playing surface. The posts are finished with a black baked-on polyester powder coat to resist rust and increase durability. The post features integrated welded steel lacing rods for securing the net to the post.
The Douglas® Premier™ post series are all internally wound featuring a self-locking gear mechanism that prevents recoiling during winding. The main gear is constructed of plated steel while the small gear is case-hardened. The internal gear function is a 30:1 ratio, ensuring smooth and easy operation. The gear housings and caps are made of cast aluminum alloy. The posts flush mounted gear plate cover and removable handle are chrome plated.
If at some point the hardware needs to be replaced, it can easily be removed from the net post and a new gear assembly can be inserted into the post.
