Perfect for hand motor development and number recognition. Sand paper tracing has been used in my sons montessori school for years and we finally adopted it in the home to help with his development. We will also be purchasing the sand paper letters too

As a Special Education teacher I have used the heavy duty Montessori sand paper number cards but these light weight tactile cards are perfect for my younger students. This is an effective sensory stimulating method of reinforcing number identification and number shape. The numbers are not wide but are narrow enough for a young child's finger tip.

Ordered both letters and numerals. Opened letters box and the sandpaper was too rough, so assume these are also uncomfortable. Was able to return letters but received message that the numerals are ineligible for return.

These work fantastic for our daughter and significantly help her recall.

Wet your childs finger to help it glide over the numbers a little easier. My newly 3 year old loves these, he already knew his numbers but we are working on not confusing 1 7, 6 9, and hopefully some pre-writing skills too! The case is great, and the cards are VERY thick
