Demonia SWING-221 Women's Mid-Calf & Knee High Boots, 5 1/2" PF

These are my second pair of Dr. Martens and from reading the reviews I was on the fence about getting these again (last pair I got was back in 2019). Boy were those reviews WRONG!!! People have said that they aren't as comfortable or they they don't fit right anymore.....For ME at least, the first week they were uncomfortable because I was breaking in the leather, but I'm one of these people who doesn't need extra socks or even tall socks for boots (ankle socks for me, no blisters at all). The only thing is they start to make my feet go to sleep once I get off work and I'm driving, but it's getting better the more I wear them. I have them on for about 12hrs Monday-Friday and they are beyond comfortable. I now have retired my OG pair (only thing wrong with them is the zipper) for riding the motorcycle with my husband, or wearing them with outfits. I get SOOOOOOOO many compliments on them and whenever I tell people they are steel toe work boots, they lose their minds! I actually find these a hell of alot more comfortable than normal Dr. Martens, and with the zipper on the side it makes it so easy.

I purchased these shoes for work but I wear them all the time. I love how fashionable they are and I always get compliments on them. Plus they keep my toes protected! The bottom of it is lined and squishy which makes it comfortable to walk and stand in. They are not very heavy either so it does not feel like you are stomping around. I should have purchased half a size up as the toe box was only a little too small but after I broke them in I have no problem with it anymore. The only warning I have is that you are going to want to purchase: !!Long good quality socks!! because the heel will eat your sock and you will end up with it bunched around your foot after walking a bit, hahaha.

These boots are well-made and pretty comfortable. Not walking on a cloud but feel like they will last a while.

I like the style and the black color and the design. Last year I bought one from same manufacturer and very comfortable. This year, I bought another design and black color so that I can match my different clothes/dress and different skirts. My normal work is to perform safety tests. and this June, we had auditor in our lab and he saw my shoes, saying: your beautiful boots are safety boots and I was glad to reply: yes, yes, it is safety boots with steel toe! I keep my safety boots in my office and forgot to take photos.

My wife loved these boots. She new she wanted Dr. Martens because it was highly recommended as a shoe brand that lasts, and now she swears by it! They’re comfy, fashionable, and stylish. She would highly recommend these to everyone!
