These boots are beautiful! However, I would mention that they run a bit bigand wear more like a unisex boot (which I don't recall reading in the description of the product). They are very wide, even for my very wide foot!Additionally, they are quite stiff! They aren't very forgiving and I do worry that they won't get broken in. Too, as with many of the thicker sole boots, they are HEAVY!

I absolutely love these boots, I always get compliments when I'm wearing them. I really haven't had any issues with having to "wear them in" but they're HEAVY and you can tell the quality is solid. My only "con" is that I wish the laces were a teeny tiny bit thicker, but I'm probably just going to look for some different laceseasy fix.

In love with the platform and overall look. I have wide feet and these are still comfortable. I normally wear a size 8.5 and ordered an 8. Fits great!

They are a little big but with two pair of sock these Docs are perfect. Now that they are broken in, I wear them all the time. They can be easily styled with so many different looks. The height is a bonus. I would buy them again. They are gorgeous!

Everyone says to size down, I would say size down MAYBE 1/2 size, but definitely not a full size. I'm an 8 and I ordered a 7 and it's boarder line too small. I think once it breaks in it'll be a bit more comfy but I love this boot

I got my true size. I'm glad I didn't size down like other reviewers suggested. I'm a larger 8, no 7.5 ever work and sometimes 8.5 works. I'm wearing thick socks. I hope that helps you make your decision.The sole is amazing. I have terrible foot pain and can only wear Crocs and other boxy toe flats. I feel zero pain so that is worth everything to me.The leather and construction feels so solid. This is a nice heavy boot. I love solid shoes like this.I would prefer to tie the shoe at the ankle and use hooks the rest of the way up. It's faster. I'll be slightly annoyed having to re-lace the ties every time so I can knot the boot at the ankle. But that's ok.I give these 11/10 stars. I'll buy them in brown too if it ever comes available.
