The 2-Way design of the C452 employs dual 4-1/2" polypropylene woofers to produce the lows and mids while the 5/8" polycarbonate tweeter delivers accurate transparency to the dialogue of your favorite TV programs and movies. The sleek appearance of this speaker will blend into your home furnishings with its black vinyl finish. Rubber feet and keyhole brackets are included so you can mount this center channel to you wall above or below your TV, or place it directly on a shelf. Speaker wire is included with the C452 so you will be ready to install it right out of the box, and hook up is easy with the quick connect spring loaded terminals.

You get what you pay for with this kind of speaker. In a sense the speaker conversation is like the tv conversations: if it looks/sounds ok to you then that is good enough. Here is my experience: I wanted to add a center to my outdoor home theater. I already had a couple of nice Polks as my Left/Right and was hoping that this speaker would be 34;good enough34;. From the first minute of the first movie I could tell I wasn't going to be happy. My wife thought it was fine. The next day I hooked the speaker up in my family room that has mid-level JBL's and then did a comparison with this speaker versus the JBL center. The difference in the sound field was extremely noticeable. Yes, so much so that my wife could tell.

Excellent center channel for the price. It’s not going to blow you away at it’s amazing sound but it’s going to wow you at how little it costs and how good it does sound. You will need to turn your amp up quite a bit to power it, however, but you will be happy for the price you paid. Great job Dayton Audio on another good product!

This center channel speaker rocks!!! Bought a sony subwoofer a few months back and this speaker allowed me to pull the subwoofer out of my setup (It kept blowing fuses). If you need good bass, for a low price this is a must buy.

I bought this when the tweeter died on my older Kef Model 100 center channel. It's definitely decent for the price of about $30ish. Don't expect it to compete way above it's weight class. It's an adequate center channel for a basic home theater system. It lacks some depth, and isn't as transparent as I like a center channel to be, but voices are nice and clear. I feel the tweeter is just a little too bright. Still, for around $30, this isn't a bad speaker.
