I have had one of these for years and use it all the time. I thought they quit making them. Finally found a place to order them from, so now I have a spare. The original name was called a shoot out. Anyway these things are lots better than any other hook removal tool that I have used. Great for pan fish and trout. You never have to touch the fish. I use it when the fish have swallowed the hook. Its not for a fish that has been hooked shallow in the mouth.
