I needed to purchase durable toys for my dog as he is a very hardy chewer and a rough and tumble kind of guy. This toy is durable and has amused my dog as he throws it up in the air and runs to catch it. He amuses himself! In any case if you want a durable flashy toy for your dog -this is great.

I just expected to use for ocean swimming fetch but it was stronger than expected. I have been using this for tug with my Malinois and hasn't broke. He loves tug for 15 minutes with other big dogs. Don't let people who leave alone as chew toy dissuade you. This will hold up to strong clenching jaws like Shepherds and Rottweilers just not gnawing couch potato breeds.

Easy for my dog to catch but the thread came apart easy from my dog's chewing. I have to sew it back together.
