Coming in at 15 long this ruler is 3 inches better than a standard 12 ruler. Great for measuring things that are over a foot long but shorter than 15.

Easy to use and sturdy due to being metal and the soft backing so it doesnt move. The numbers are easy to ready so marking is a breeze. A great value, and was delivered quickly!

I bought this to use as a straight edge, but the edge is sightly curved. I could not use it.

It works well how I expect. Also there is no rips on the bottom which is a problem I have had with other rulers!

As expected, works great with a rotary cutter and the cork backing stops it from slipping over fabric.

I just don't understand... When I got the ruler, I love the feel of the ruler. I'm finding that manufacturers don't want to short customers so they give them a little bit extra! Generally, if I want to measure something, stick the end of the ruler at the edge of what you want to measure and see the tick where the item ends. Doesn't work with this ruler (and some plastic ones I purchased earlier). To make sure the manufacturer didn't miss some length, they give you extra, on both ends. Maybe it's something with the paint machine can't paint to the end, but it is more than a bit of a pain. Depending on how accurate you need to be, subtract between 1/8 and 1/4 from your measurement for the overhang. If I had a good grinding wheel, I'd be tempted to fix the ruler.Personally, I'd think a 15 ruler would be 15 but I'm only the customer. What do I know?

It sure measures and draws a straight line. All I really need it for as an artist.

Stronger and sturdier than those plastic ones. I only wish our political rulers were as straight and accurate as this one is!

Exactly what you would expect. A metal ruler. Seems just fine.
