I fly a lot and you're only allowed 50lbs. I am able to put the needed tools in and they fit without being over packed.

I have used Chicago case products for many years. After 8 years with the slim line case, I decided to go back to this one. I travel with a lot of tools, and the Chicago military cars are the only ones to handle the load, TSA, and baggage handlers. This one is of the same high quality I've come to expect from CC. I typically have 70-75 of tools in the case.

Basically this is a good travelers toolbox. As a Service Tech I'm on the road all the time usually flying to my assignments. This box does survive the trips well.
There are 2 area's I don't like though.
I don't like the tool "pockets". Nothing I have fits them, even the screwdriver pockets which I had to make larger just to fit the ends through. Thats pretty typical though and I understand its hard to make a general purpose toolbox for every need. Keep the foam though. I found sandwiching this between the upper fold together portion worked miracles.
The other part I don't like is the bottom "fin & slot?" that keeps the upper section locked to the top. It doesn't stay there and can actually get wedged wrong requiring a tool to fix (humor intended). I drilled two holes and put a couple bolts through with airline type locknuts to keep the slotted area in place on the fin.

Minor issues for an otherwise very good toolbox with lots of airline miles and tons of stairs behind it.
