Wile certainly not healthy, this is really good. We like it over toast and have had it for breakfast as well as dinner with a side salad. It tastes like the 'dried beef gravy' my Mother used to make.......she was born in 1908 so it was always from scratch using the dried beef which came in a very small jar and evaporated milk. This Chef-mate creamed sliced beef is positively just as good......sorry, Mother.

I have been using this product for the last ten years. I do add extra cooked sausage, but you could easily omit that step and serve 34;as is34; for a delicious and heavenly sausage gravy. If the quantity is intimidating, just portion off and freeze - it keeps very well.

Not a big fan. This is edible, but extremely greasy and very salty. Don't even think about following the microwave instructions. You end up with a layer of grease on top (which at least pours off easily) and a very unappetizing slop. Stovetop is always the way to go with corned beef hash so you can crisp it up. This stuff took forever to manage that. One thing to say about it though is that it does come back from being frozen in almost the same state as freshly opened.

Not as good as making your own. Way to sweet. Not sure what they did to make this sweet, but I would not buy again. Looks right, but just not close to what I make. I am looking for precooked close to mine. Good dried beef is hard to find.
