I replaced the speaker in my Fender Champion 50 XL with this Celestion 6o 12 GM. Every aspect of the amp was an improvement in the sound output. It's like having an 11 on the gain or volume... just kidding, but it's a vast improvement.

Arrived timely SAFE!! Original mfg box, so glad to see Made in UK on the magnet. This was not cheap, wanted UK speaker, I have it now. See what the hype is all about. I have been using g12-t75's forever in a 4x12 marshall. I bought multiple 1x12 cabs from 440 live, Gregs Audio. Eminence C Rex likes the 16x16, which had a CL80 in it, which now is going into a 16x20 for more low end. The Creamback fit nice in the 16x20, breaking it in, so far so good. I took pics next to the CL80 for reference. cheers!

This speaker is great, I highly recommend. I replaced the stock A-type Celestion in my Fender Hotrod Deluxe 4 ..even though the A-type is a Chinese speaker it still sounds awesome but there was a slightly muddy undertone that I didn't care for and the Creamback G12 M took care of it. The Creamback does have that slight grumble that I love but without the muddyness of the A-type (especially with pedals)

I replaced a Vintage 30 with this G12M-65 Creamback, and my amp is transformed. Gone are the harsh mids, replaced with a smoother sound. There's nothing inherently wrong with a V-30, it just didn't suit my amp and sound.

Great sounding speaker, not too bright and pairs greatly with EL84s.

I replaced the stock Peavey Sheffield 1230 speaker in my Peavey Bandit 112. The Sheffield is a good speaker and some like it, but I found it to be overly middle to high mid forward sounding (clear yet too much in your face), lacking in the low mid (body and warmth), and can get harsh in the treble. Thus, I replaced the Sheffield with a Celestian G1265M Creamback (8 Ohm) and now the amp has a tight low end (slightly less than the G1275M Creamback), good low mid warmth and growl, and a fairly less mid forward sound while still retaining good clarity. I have, however, had to dial back both treble and presence control when compared to the stock speaker, but the Creamback seems to add a balance amount of gain (much wider bandwidth) in the treble and presence region that were missing in the stock speaker which makes the Creamback overall much smoother in sound even when having to dial back treble and presence controls to avoid harshness. With that said, I am happy with the overall sound of the Creamback and in particular the overdrive tones via pedals which are full, smooth, and clear with little to no ice-picky highs. Context is everything so the M Creamback may or may not fit well to your amp and guitar setup and for the tone you are looking for.
