Your feet will sweat in these boots. I wear them with Columbia moisture wicking socks and at times can physically see water droplets on the backside of the insoles when I remove them to air the boots out. They are definitely waterproof but waterproof going in and going out. Solid boot for someone whose feet don't sweat. Mine do so I probably would've considered another boot had I known how bad they hold moisture in. Fairly comfortable after removing the stock insole and replacing it with a Powerstep insole. Not due to bad quality but it has virtually no arch support like the Powerstep.

These boots are great so far. I always go 1/2 size bigger than what I am. Caterpillar boots are one of the better boots to get. They seem to last longer than other brands. These are on the heavier side if your lookin for something lighter in weight.
