This is just what we needed. Our old one was plugged and rather than clean it which could take a lot of time we purchased this. It installed relatively quickly and works like a charm.

My 20(?) year old furnace died this winter, of course, during one of our bitter cold snaps. (Thank God for space heaters... and an able son-in-law.) I wasn't sure I'd be able to find parts for it, as it so old. This part arrived sooner than expected, with a day or two of the bitter cold lingering.

Cures water that doesn't drain out of furnace. Original one got plugged with gunk and wouldn't drain any longer.

This unit is the same one that broke during freezing weather This unit is part of our Bryant furnace and mounted on the outside of the furnace which is installed in a garage closet. Once the front cover was removed and the three hoses disconnected it was relatively easy to remove. It is surprising the amount of condensate that passes though it on its way outside.

Needed it because my old trap became just too clogged with growth. I used Clorox and other things to clean the old one. Just gave up and ordered a new one.
