Needs a better Velcro strap

I ordered the blue color and I love it. I'm a 6'3 man and it fits normally with plenty of adjustment to make it larger or smaller. I just ordered the khaki one to have another version...it's a completely different size...like a child's or a woman's. It won't go on my head without the strap being at maximum extent and the body of the cap is too snug/small. I just sent it back. I'll try the black to see if it's normal size.

It relies on a dry climate for evaporative cooling. In a humid climate, a mesh hat is better.

It's good, just don't expect it to be like the Mission towels.I originally bought this hat because I was working at a big-box-hardware store where I'm mostly working outside in the heat (which is year-round where I live). I had access to a water fountain and bottles of water where I can sip and splash it on the hat when I know I'm going to be outside a little more than I expect to.So I thought the hat was going to be like the Mission brand cooling towels that I would use for drives out towards the desert or be like the gaiter which I wore pre-pandemic to cool off. No, this hat isn't quite like it.With the cooling towel I had about a solid hour until the thing would stop cooling and just recirculate the muggy heat that your body naturally generates. But this, it feels like I reached that threshold a lot sooner.That's not to say it's bad. I just think this is good if you need a constant supply of cooling needs for you like on an extensive hike or heavy cardio work outside would probably not be good if you need continuous relief. I wore this at the family pool on a particularly scorching day and would whip it into the water, ring it about and plop it back on my head. That was very refreshing, as someone who doesn't really swim in a pool and just sort of floats about. It's also great for beach days too. You just walk out to the water, give it a splash and bam, cooling. Ocean fishing is also a good location to to use this to its full potential.I guess my only issue is that this doesn't really have form to it and I know that is more of a product limitation than anything. If you have a lot of hair you're stuffing into the hat, people will definitely notice. That's why this is great for folks with bald, shaved, shorter hairstyles but beyond that you might be s.o.l. It's not like a traditional hat which is more rigid in construction, the only thing with form is the bill/brim of the hat.It's easy to clean, still has color after some brutal use, and it still surprisingly works in the context of having access to useable water. But if I had to wear this on the street, I probably would pick something else.Great for workouts, outdoorsy activities, and surprisingly work.

Perhaps I was expecting more due to the hype? It works well if I keep wetting it often. It's not super cool, but worked a little better than I really expected. It may have worked even better if I hadn't gotten black, or used it out of direct sun.

I like the hat and it works as advertised for the most part but the one problem I have is that the hat is very shallow , I don't have a big head and this thing barely stays on my head , a minor breeze blows it right off my head.

I bought this for a trip to the Utah national parks and it worked great. Very lightweight, was able to fit my tiny head, and offered great sun protection. The cooling feature worked for a little bit, then I didn't notice it. Maybe because I was spending hours in the open desert, perhaps the feature is more withstanding if you are just doing your lawn or something. It looked cute and I will definitely continue wearing it!

I like it, the color is good (I got the blue one). It was a little too big for my head but I was able to tack up the side's over my ears and it's good now. It's light weight and I wear it to work a lot.

Context: I sweat A LOT when I work out. When I wear hats, they quickly develop those white sweat lines that ruin regular hats. I was sick of ruining hats so I researched cooling hats and came across this and its more expensive counterpart.Pros: light weight comfortable dries quickly provides some cooling effect looks niceCons: after the first wash, threads on top of the hat (where those little holes are) started to pop out; I snipped them and so far so good...I'm a bit worried that more threads might appear in the future

These hats are great for summer, just dip it in water and shake off the excess. Super cooling and great looking too!

This hat works as advertised and is well made, except the sizing is way off. I bought it for my husband, who normally wears low profile adjustable hats. The hat was way too small for him and was pretty snug on me too. I decided to keep it as it was a good size for my kids who are 7, 8, and 11.

Good gift

I like the hat, but I do have one criticism. The velcro adjustment strap doesn't hold together very well. Particularly if you encounter a strong breeze.

Its a good lightweight cooling hat. I dont like the velcro and hope to just have someone or I attempt to put a snap on it or some sort of other closure.
