The CanDo Magneciser Pedal Exerciser is an upper and lower body exercise ideal for increasing muscle strength, improving range-of-motion, developing coordination and enhancing circulation. Developed for both table-top and floor use, the exerciser uses magnetic resistance to enable smooth and quiet operation. Bi-directional, the peddler is suitable for and provides benefits to arms and legs. Progress is easily tracked with the 5-function digital display. This device indicates the speed, time exercised, calories burned, the distance traveled and ?scan?, which rotates through all the functions. The tension control dial lets you change pedal resistance for progressive exercises. I looked a long time for one of these as I get over an ankle injury. Most are flimsy and use belts. This has magnetic resistance and is very solid and runs smoothly. Definitely worth the money if you intend to use it for more than a few weeks.

just got it. nice and smooth operation.two issues:1) no assembly instructions. although assembly is pretty obvious, the two hands screw on with LEFT HAND THREADS. i noticed in other review that some people could not get the pedals on, and i wonder if they realized you have to turn them the opposite way?2) there is some adjustment of the pedal force, but not all that much. it is fine for now, but a professional weight lifter might find the maximum force to not be high enough.otherwise it does what i want, give me an opportunity to burn calories using my arms.the display is useful too, shows time/speed/calories burned.

It's Sturdy, Great value, and East to Assemble. Our daughter had a dissected aorta coupled with a stroke lost use of her left side. After receiving this exerciser she is beginning to regain her strength in her arm and legs. This has been a great asset.
