A fellow RV'er needed a way to check the propane levels on her tanks and I had an extra set of hoses with the gauges, but they had the inverted male connector. Her two stage auto-changeover was made for the NPT style hose. Once these arrived, used the yellow thread tape and presto! she now has gauges on her tanks and can see when one is empty.

These flares fit solidly with no leaks. They appear well made, and are reasonably priced. I bought them for use with my RV propane setup.
