Cable seems to be of excellent quality. Wish the audio wire was a little bit longer though. Other than that pretty good.

The quality of this product is amazing. Exactly what I expected.

I feel a bit silly, but I had no idea whether I could hook my lappy up to my HDTV in order to watch DVDs or to watch something like MLB.tv in HD. I had a devil of a time trying to find out on the interweb what I needed to do to make these things happen.Well, it turns out, it's a piece of cake with this cable.I have a Sony Bravia 32" and an Inspiron 1520 lappy. An interesting thing about the lappy is that the VGA-out is on the opposite side as the audio out. This particular cable is terrific because the audio cable is long enough to reach across the entire lappy, with room to spare.The image on the TV is terrific -- I had read online that VGA didn't have enough bandwidth to transmit HDTV. If so, I can't tell (but, I'm not an audio/video-phile).I just wanted to write this review to say: if you have a 'puter with a VGA-out port and an HDTV that has a VGA-in port, this is an excellent cable for watching DVDs played on your 'puter and/or streamed HD content like MLB.tv.

Works as you would expect. The 'tail' for the audio plug is long enough to reach to the other side of my laptop without a problem. I've got a 14" laptop, but it should work fine even on a 17".

I believe this product is ok,it arrived in time.The purpose for the purchase was to link my pc and sony xbr.Unfortunately the TV refused to recognise it and wont stay fixed for too long on my pc.So its just occupying space right now...what do i do with it?Its past product return period i think or i should love to return it.

I was looking for a VGA / Audio cable for using my laptop with 50" Samsung DLP TV. I read the previous review and like the picture shows, the audio cable is longer and allows it to reach the audio port on the side of my laptop. Locally, a 15' VGA / audio cable costs $30. I purchased 2 of these shipped for the same price as the local one. The cables arrived very quickly shipped cross country. The cables work excellent and are very good quality.
