I was truly impressed with this chess set. Absolutely worth the price. It is extremely well made, sturdy, the details are really impressive. The pieces themselves are not just well made but have a weight to them. This was a Fathers Day present for my husband who plays regularly and has various sets hes collected from around the world - and he was pleasantly surprised.

We love it. Bought it as a gift and it's a huge hit. The pieces are heavy and well made. Everything was packaged appropriately so nothing was broken. The glass board is prestine and the graveyard of battle weapons is intricate and stunning. I would definitely buy another one.

The pieces are detailed and have a good weight to them, glass top was thick, the base is so detailed! I purchased this for a Christmas gift he is going to blown away with this. I can't wait to give it to him! I was hesitant due to the price but I kept being drawn back to it. I am so glad I purchased it. Was also well packed so it wouldn't be damaged.

Arrived with two of the corners/castle stands for the glass board broken into and three pieces (both queens and one pawn) were broken. Guess that's what you get when you buy something used, even though it stated it was like new.
