okay other than it being too wide for my hands so they are hard to take off and on.

They do the job, but mine are different - one is easy to put on the bar, and doesn't even grip the plate holder; the other grips the plate holder and is pretty difficult to put on the same bar, it's clearly more narrow.I wonder if the problems people are having where they are hard to use is because they get two of the tighter ones :)

These clips were annoying to initially use, but eventually get easier as time goes on.

Love the clips, they lock the weights in place securely, but the rubber boots are slippery, sometimes slide out of place, and, in my opinion, make these a bit difficult to manipulate. However, removing the boots makes the grips painful to use. They're great for sure, but I wouldn't buy these again. I have a set with a different handle design that doesn't require boots, and they are also super comfortable and easy to use.

Nice enough end collars, but a very long wait for them to arrive. Not al all as shown in the photograph. No rubber grip covers, just shaped wire. Which is okay, but not what was promised.

The clips are big and work well enough. The handles are prone to coming off

Work well, but very stiff. Takes two hands to squeeze.

The work and hold the weights on. They don't slide well on older well used bars. If they opened a bit wider I think the'd slide even better

Great product. Not a bit of slipping once clamped. Only small issue... You better have a very strong grip to use these. Quite tough to squeeze to open the clamp to change weights.

When you manage a really big gym with nearly ten thousand members using the facility, you need to choose your battles. While it's necessary to have collars for all your barbells in order to be safe and please the members, it becomes an issue which to buy.

Sure, these aren't quite as easy to use and durable as our $50 clamps, but they get the job done and when you have people stealing stuff from the gym, it helps to lose something less valuable.

These certainly are worth what you pay and they don't need to be replaced that often. They last well over a year in a high usage facility. They'd last forever at home.

They will rust if exposed to the elements so be weary, and my only major negative point is that the synthetic black slip cover will fall off, so either take it off right away to avoid issues, glue it on tighter, or ask CAP to do a better job.

As others have said, these are tight. You really need to squeeze them to get them on the bar, which is a minor headache. They do work well for my purposes, though... and they certainly lock plates in place. I would say that if you have smaller hands, you may need to be ready to squeeze them with two hands to get them on and off. If that's a big problem, then you may wish to skip these. Hard to argue with this price, though!

You have to break these clips in before they are easy to use. I recommend putting on the end of a barbell and leaving them there for a few days. Other than that, good quality!

Seem to be decent quality. Plastic handles are a little slick and hard to grasp. Wrapped them with athletic tape, and are good to go. Would order again.
