I don't know what others are complaining about with them being tough to remove. They are just as difficult as any others I have used in the gym. I do remember it being difficult at first for me as well, but after a couple workout sessions, my grip strength was enough so that it was not challenging anymore. For those that think these are too difficult, I recommend working on grip strength, because that is important for many lifting moves and you may drop the bar otherwise.

Much better quality than you'd expect for the price. Using them in mid to high traffic gym. I'll get more.

have to squeeze pretty hard cos of my weak sauce, makes it somewhat difficult and time consuming to get on and off barbell between sets, end up using some generic lockjaw type collars instead

The springs are very tight and the grip is quite wide. I have just unpacked them and tried them out, so maybe they will loosen up after some use. It is difficult to put these on with one hand and slide them on as the handles are so far apart and the springs are so rigid it takes a decent amount of force squeeze the handles together to open the spring to slide them on the 2 inch barbell/dumbbells.

The gauge of metal on these clamps is quite a bit thicker than my other spring clamps. Because of that, as others have said, they are slightly difficult to compress, however the amount you have to compress them to get them on the bar is significantly less than the thinner clamps because there's more tension, so if you have any forearm strength at all it shouldn't really be a problem. So far I've had them over a month and the rubber pieces haven't come off, even if they do it's not a big deal.

Like others have said these are super tight. They fit but you have to squeeze really hard.

The clamps slid right in and I was able to lift without a worry that they'll loosen during my sets. Great buy!

These keep my weight on the bar; nothing more, nothing less. Buy 'em if you need 'em.

These exceeded my expectations. The handles are actually very large. I was expecting them to be rather small for the price. Great quality, great price.
