Can't go wrong with these. I really like the rubber padding on them as well. I bought these to replace a different style lock collar that was giving me problems. I should have bought these in the first place.

The concept is very simple, and it keeps the weights in place! Spring power pretty incredible!So far I've not seen any rust on them, and I've had them for over 5 years on my outdoor Olympic bench press bar! That's ideal.

Nice enough end collars, but a very long wait for them to arrive. Not al all as shown in the photograph. No rubber grip covers, just shaped wire. Which is okay, but not what was promised.

only thing I didn't like was how it can be difficult to remove. Otherwise, keeps weights on tight

When I tried placing these on my bar, I didn't even need to clamp down on it to get it on, once it was on there it moves around and does not keep the weights locked in place what so ever.

the spring clips work well, there also tight so you might need two hands to put them on but for the price and simplicity you can't beat them.
