I had total coliforms present in my well, I shocked it 3 times with bleach, but tests still indicated they were there. I bought this and used it. Last test indicated they were absent. Works great.

It does take a little bit to put in and you have to mix the pellets but if you put the right mix in your house well it last up to 6 months

Our well water smelled awful. Rotten eggs, sulfur type of smell, and had a rust color at times. After reading different ways to deal with the problem, I bought this treatment. I followed the directions (maybe used a little more chemical than needed). I let the chemicals to there job in the well for 8 hours. I then began to flush the well. It takes a long time (several hours at my house) to get all the chlorine smell out of the water. Don't attempt to rush the process. Good thing is that it's not been 7 months since i treated the well and we have no water odors and the color of the water is noticeably better. Don't forget to flush your hot water heater.

Im not 100 percent sure but I think this product removed the bad oder from my well definitively. No other product has removed the bad smell for as long as this one has. I have only done one application so far.

My water started smelling so bad. Hot cold and even when I flush the toilet.. so I assumed it has to be the well. This product was easy to use and my water has no smell at all. I will purchase again and refer to others.

My well water developed a rotten egg smell and was turning the shower, toilet, and sinks orange/rusty colored. I used this kit and followed the instructions, and it completely eliminated the odor from the water and now it looks crystal clear and isn't staining everything. Good stuff!

Got rid of the sulfur smell, at least for a week since that's how long it's been. If your house has never been done, prepare for a ton of sediment to come through the pipes. Ours took two days to clear up after getting all of the chlorine out. Definitely still worth it, just make sure you have water to drink and boil!

Simple directions, easy to put down the well and it works!I was having problem’s with rusty water and after following the directions, the well was pumping Crystal clear water!We will see how long it lasts? I’ll do a follow up review in 30 days.But so far, so good!

Used this in our well up at the cabin. We had been plagued with this rotten egg smell in our hot water. Shocked the well with this, cleared all the pipes and the smell is gone. It was very easy to do. The kit comes with granules and tablets. You use both. They give you a guide on how much to use depending on the depth of your well. Very happy with this product.

We live on a shallow well near the bay on the Central Oregon coast, and we get a lot of surface water and other contaminants from the local ground water, because of how shallow it is. Coliform is a problem. I have no problems with nitrates, arsenic or anything else, just coliform. After shocking the well just once with this product, the water came back from the lab showing no presence of coliform after 7 days. I plan on shocking it on a regular basis (quarterly if necessary). It comes with pellets for the bottom of the well, and granules (rinses the upper well wall areas) that you mix with water and make a slurry that you then pour down the well access port. Very easy to do. Just ensure you follow instructions on the package.
