These are incredible. The box came with oil stains on the bottom, and I was worried they would be greasy or not taste good, but man oh man, they were so delicious. I got two of them and my husband ate almost every single one of them besides the 4 I gave to my 83 year old dad...who said they were better than the TURTLES brand. These were as good as the Chocolate Factory "pecan bears" or turtles. These were yummy. I bought them for a Christmas gift, but the box was stained with oil that leaked through from the chocolates, so I kept them and didn't even open them till January, because the box looked really gross. Here's a perfect example to never judge a box of chocolates by it's cover. The contents were amazing. I recommend, even if the packaging is 2 stars....they are super yummy.

These are the freshest most decadent chocolate caramel pecan Turtles. The pecans are the star, they add a discernible flavor. Simply the best presentation of my favorite candy. Also price is lower than comparable. The candies get jostled a bit in travel, mostly just the top layer. Keep them in the fridge for best quality.

I had no issues with this candy. It arrived in perfect condition. I think the taste of this candy is as good as the better quality chocolates on the market.

I ordered the milk chocolate It came on the day promised . The taste is excellent and the size is generous . They are fresh and home made . Totally recommend the milk chocolate ones .

My order was a good value for the money. However, it said it was dark chocolate but it looked, tasted, and performed like milk chocolate. The caramel and pecans were fine.

So, I don't know what happened to this company, but it is not good. I have been ordering these for several years, but this last box put a stop to that. They went up in price, I was ok with that as everyone's prices for ingredients have gone up, so not unexpected, but the quality has gone WAAAAAY down. 1) These are supposed to be dark chocolate, but the candies in this box were not, and the chocolate seems to be very low chocolate content - mixed with what? Definitely not cocoa butter. They weren't quite milk chocolate either, so not sure what is happening with the chocolate, but, not good, too sweet amp; too soft, too fat - crisco maybe? NOT good chocolate! 2) The caramel was very salty this time and had a strange bitter taste - maybe they burned a batch and tried to save it by mixing it with a good batch? Not sure, but the caramel, is way off taste-wise, they do not taste good or right. 3) These are usually little mountains of pecans and caramel, but this time they are completely flat, and the pecans seem to be the pecan dust from the bottom of the bag, tiny pieces, few and far between. I love pecan clusters, they are my favorite indulgence, so I try to keep them on hand as a sweet treat to add to tea trays, and the occasional personal indulgence, and have ordered these in the past and both I and my guests have enjoyed them, but this box does not fit the bill for either - I cannot serve these to anyone, and they just don't taste like a treat, so, these are going out, I will order another brand. These were a good buy in the past, but at this price point, not going to chance that this box was just an accident - one of the three faults, and I might try again, but all three is a deal breaker.
