The viking chess set is in great condition would recommend. But one or two rules are a bit hard to understand. One: moving one of you pieces between two enemy pieces will not get it captured. Two: only the king piece can land on the white spaces(no mention of this rule is in the box but its listed in every version of this game you can find online)Besides that the rules are quite easy to learn

It's a great set for the price. The artwork and quality are really nice. There is a fitted tray for the pieces. The only criticism is I wish the board was a bit larger.

My son wanted this set, he likes it. It comes with little storage for the pieces, the board is little small for my liking but my son enjoys it. He said it easy enough for him to figure it out not like actually chess but very close to it.. FYI: my son is 15

I have played this game many times now with my younger bothers and they enjoy it. The rules are simpler than chess but still needs you to think of a strategy to win. The only issue I have, and other reviews as well, is the weight of the pieces being very light for the size that they are. Like half the weight of a Circus Peanut Marshmallow light. If they could have made the pieces with a little more weight I wouldn't have any issue.

Easy to learn and hard to master. My son and I have played several times and enjoyed every match.

I love this because the instructions are clear and it's overall a pretty easy game to learn and play. My only criticism is that the pieces themselves are pretty thick and the board squares are rather small so it's easy to knock over pieces while moving them.
