What a heavy duty unit comes with a screw eye bolt as well as a heavy duty pulley super solid construction to make the ultimate tripod stand can use over a fire pit ,skinning animals well as removing feathers with a hand held chicken plucker ,drill attachment ,so well made ! Made out of plate steel and the legs are welded to the top plate thumbs up for this tripod header !

I used 1 1/4 galvanized threaded steel pipes with couplers for the legs. Allows it to be adjustable for whatever length you need. Only thing is they fit almost too tight so might want to grease em first. Probably going to had some heavy duty casters if I need to role it around.

The pipe legs are seam welded and although that is not a problem, the welding protrudes inward over the length of the weld such that a 1-5/8 fence post pipe will not fit in the leg. I have tried chipping away the weld with a cold chisel but that is not working well on an inner, curved surface. I will try grinding it out with a drill mounted cone grinder on a 1/4 extension but the depth of the leg may make even this approach hard. The tripod header seems to be well made otherwise but this manufacturing flaw renders it useless. The powder coating paint will have to be retouched with spray paint if my attempt to remove the welding is successful.

I purchased this to use for deer feeder. It's very well built, however like others have said it will not except a 1 5/8 OD schedule 40 pipe due to the welds inside the tubing. I just used 1 1/4 EMT and it works just fine.
