Works , it seems to keep/increase temperature by about 10 degrees compared to no-cover.I have small fountain pool connected to main pool, covering the main pool alone shows difference of about 10degrees between them.

Difficult to keep flat when rolling up the solar blanket, due to the thick flat seam in the middle of the blanket, which reduces its flexibility. While rolling up the blanket on the reel, the middle flat seam easily bunches up. Will see if this blanket holds up. Easy to trim in order to fit to the pool's shape. Does its job to reduce heat loss, due to evaporation, when the pool is not in use. I use this solar blanket with a solar blanket reel. Its easy to roll off and roll on with the reel. The reel makes it a one person operation. Only 10 mins in each direction. Roll on in the morning and roll off the reel in the evening.

This cover is easy to install with a reel. My gas usage has dropped 70. For daily use, we like to keep the pool at 86F in Las Vegas winter at 50F. Without the cover, the pool dropped down to 70F each night without heat. Now it only drops to 82F.It has held up for the few months we have used it.We use a reel to uncover only when swimming. That worked well.

first year so far so good ! easy to reel and unreel warms and keeps the pool nice even in chilly Michigan winters. Not tears or bubbles popped with an entire seasons use. I know these only last a few years, but I am happy with the results of this sized so far

We've tried a few covers over the years, and this is definitely one of the better ones. It's a great weight - heavy enough but not too heavy it'll be tough to remove. This is the first time I've used a clear one (versus blue) and it seems to still attract the heat from the sun and insulate the pool. I'd buy it again.

My electric bill for using my Hayward heat pump on my pool this 2022 autumn season in NY is going to be lower than last year because I have this solar blanket on my 16 x30 ft pool. I AM SWIMMING OUTDOORS IN NOVEMBER when I could never do this before!! Of course, the heat pump is only running from 8am to 10pm, in temperatures higher than 50, bc this fall is very mild so far. The pump is set at 89 and the pool stays at 89 degrees day and night. I am so THRILLED with this purchase which was delivered within two days of ordering it at a great price. I am pleased with the performance of my 14 mil clear (not blue) pool blanket. I HIGHLY recommend getting no less than 14 mil. Very Important-Take precautions with children and pets while the cover is on.

I purchased this on 20 March 2022. It has been deteriorating since mid August, and now on 26 September 2022 it is leaving pieces in the pool and the bubbles have cracked open and the plastic is shredding on its own. Very mild Southern California weather without excessive rolling and unrolling, very gently use with professional pool service. At two per year minimum, that's $436. Far more than the energy savings of heater or evaporation. This product is falsely advertised and will cost you.

Really impressed with this product. It warmed up our pool very noticeably. You were no longer shocked by jumping into cold water, it was very comfortable. The pool cover that came with our above ground pool from Costco was garbage and unusable, so this also worked wonders to keep the bugs and debris out of the pool. So worth it.

I have a small 10x20' pool so I bought a large enough cover to cut into 4ths in expectation that the Texas sun would cause them to deteriorate pretty quickly. I used the first piece for the last 2 summers and only now is it starting to release plastic bits into my pool. I consider 8 summers for a single large piece to be a great deal, though obviously that won't be an option for larger or irregularly shaped pools. As for the cover itself, it's reasonably heavy plastic and is effective at warming the pool - I'd say about 5-10 degrees. It is a bit of a pain to add/remove but I roll it up on a pvc pipe with metal conduit inside for strength and it's fairly quick. An actual hand crank reel would be nicer but would take up too much space on my deck. Anyway, a decent product but it will need replacing before long.

Pool cover is a must whether this one or others. It'll save you $$$ on heating costs in the long run. After one week of use - The material seems durable and of good quality but didn't expect the cover to be made of 6' x 6' squares glued together to make the 12' x 24 ' size. It is not a single piece which is a bummer.I do suspect when this cover do fail, it'll be at the glued seems.Lets see how the vendor handle warranty then.

I have an above ground pool and live in utah. It's been on since May and the pool is currently 94 degrees in august. A little warm for summer but it will be great for fall temps. It also helps to keep bugs and stuff out of the pool. We just pull it off when we use the pool then drag it back on when we are not using the pool. I am going to get something that attaches to the sides of the pool to roll it for next season.

I was skeptical that this would work to heat our pool since it basically just looks like a huge piece of bubble wrap. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it works. Our pool is now over 90 degrees (outside temp is in the low 90's). When we left it off overnight, the the pool temp cooled off considerably. Works very well to prevent water loss. We've only had to add water to the pool a few times over the summer (mainly from lots of kids swimming and splashing water out). Would absolutely recommend.

Obviously this is impacted by how much sun your pool gets - this heated our pool way more than I ever expected. We live in Southern California and don't have a heater for our pool. This warmed our pool up to over 90 degrees when we left it on for a week in the middle of the summer. It's a great and cheap alternative to a pool heater!

in first week, pool became significantly hotter without turning on heater at all, and usually have to re-fill pool every 2 wks, but this has kept water pretty level that I have not had to re-fill for month at all.
