Not sure about these pans. Every time I clean and wipe them, even just with water the paper towel has a grey/silver residue. Not sure they are safe if the metal is getting on my food.

I really like these baking pans. They are sturdy so things do not get popped around when removing them from the oven, and they provide a very even bake. And as an added bonus they are easy to clean

I bought these to replace a consumer quality baking sheet with silicone handles and a non- stick coating that actually cost me the majority of the price of all three of these.I definitely notice a major upgrade in heat distribution as well as ease of cleaning. I haven't been using them long, and I am using a piece of parchment paper as a liner, but I think these are going to last a long time and cook better to boot.I've noticed my cookies, biscuits and jo-jos are coming out much more evenly cooked, and the bits of oil and food that sneak around the parchment paper wash right off.So far I'm choosing not to use steel wool nor a dishwasher, but it says technically you can if you don't mind some discoloration.Personally I much prefer the pure aluminum to the non-stick coating, just for peace of mind.Just a casual family cook's opinion, but I'd say they're definitely worth upgrading to from your typical Walmart cookie sheet.
