Great tool. Use a lower speed when drilling spot welds. Bit will last longer. If I had to by again I would buy the kit that has a center alignment pin than a center drill bit.

I tried the cheap one with lasted about 10 welds.This Blair lasted a long time, I replaces a floor, firewall and rocker panels and still have an extra cutter left over.

After watching a few review videos on several spot weld cutters it became apparent that Blair was the market leader. I was unsure how long a single cutter head would last. The kit comes with three heads. I have cut through over 145 spot welds and I'm still on the first cutter head. The trick is to operate the bit at a low to mid speed. Would buy again.

They are durable when using tap magic oil. Make sure you use tap magic oil because if you don't use tap magic oil or any other type of sawing oil to prevent bits from burning up and becoming useless like the first one that burned up because I forgot to use tap magic oil.

These work great. A little hint use a center punch to mark center before starting to drill the spot weld. And they do not cut rust so do not waist you time and blame the bit.

Forget the cheap cutters with teeth that break off, this is the real deal. Cut at a slower speed and these will cut clean holes quickly. They are basically little roto-broaches. Teeth never shear off and you can even Re-sharpen them if you have a diamond wheel.
