I tutor around 15 students a week for the past 12 years. I get so tired of students using dull 2 wood pencils or fragile mechanical pencils. Most mechanical pencils have a .7 mm lead and some even have a .5 mm lead. Both of those sizes will snap regularly for my math students. I demand they all use the thicker .9 mm lead of this pencil. I give them to the students and go through about a pack a semester. I won't use anything else because I hate pencil tips that snap or need to be sharpened. I wish more retail stores carried this size.

I love this product. I have purchased several times -- for myself and my grands -- because the lead doesn't break easily with pressure. These lightweight pencils are great for drawing.
