Okay! So I have purchased two pairs of the C320 Belleville Ultra Lights and these boots SET THE STANDARD!I bought my first pair in 2017 and second pair in 2021. These boots have been with me since! They replaced the good old standard issue DLATS you get from supply. Ive been in since 2013 and the Belleville C320 Ultra Lights are not only comfortable! BUT! They are extremely durable! I have put these boots through the ringer! The rocky sands of Cuba, the mountains of the Appalachians in the USA, the jungles of Thailand, scaling the Colorado Rockies, the hills of Germany, and not only did they excel at comfort but also set the bar for helping me stay stable while rucking or repelling off cliffs! Are they water resistant? No because theyre designed to allow your feet to breathe but you get a nice can of kiwi water repellent and coat your boots in that, youre good to go!Appearance? Well theyre combat boots so they look like all boots in my opinion but they dont feel like any other boots that I have had.I had Nikes and they got set to the side quickly! Ive used Rocky V2 boots and they were great but didnt fit my feet the way I wanted them to.Im already preparing to buy my third pair of Bellevilles Ultra Lights and at this point, I may as well take out stock in them!

I hike for a living, 10 miles a day, 4 days a week, for at least 6 months out of the year. I also have some old injuries that cause pain in tradition stiff boots. These are my go to boots. Not for those with weak feet or ankles, but cushioned and protective enough for my daily treks through cactus and scree. Perfect for those looking for minimalist boots who aren't too worried about zero drop or those looking for a comfy boot that could be used to run in. True to size, narrower heel cup than most.

Active duty Army for 6 years in aground pounding MOS and I've tried several brands and styles. These have been my all time favorite fire a long time. I've done everything you could think of in these boots and they just put perform any other boot I've worn. Everyone's foot is different so maybe it won't be for you but if your debating it, I can guarantee these are an absolutely great option.

My child complained about the boots currently used in ROTC, many cadets purchased this model instead. I really hope the US Army can order this model which are much better though it is expensive for the soldiers who serve the country!

The boots fit comfortably on my feet and did not cause any friction. What I liked most is that the boots are breathable in hot weather.

These come narrow so order wide if you are regular width. Tread does not seem too soft. Surprisingly light since I'm coming from Rockys. These are hiking boots, Rockys will remain my outdoor work boots (building contractor). So far very happy. Hiking in Rockys was getting rough. Update one day later... I lied, I just worked in them.

Sizing

All of our boots are available in Men's Regular (R) and Wide (W) Widths, with some styles offering Narrow (N) and Extra Wide (XW) widths as well. Since sizes & widths vary among boot styles, please check individual boot styles for available sizes & widths.

Unfortunately, not all boot brands fit the same. For this reason, we would like to offer a few sizing tips that will help you get a better BELLEVILLE fit:

  • CHECK YOUR SIZE:Belleville boots are about 1 to 1½ full sizes larger in fit than your normal shoe size when measuring on a standard Brannock shoe device. The difference depends on the type of boot you choose: soft toe versus safety toe, hot weather versus insulated or waterproof, etc.

  • SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE MINI-MiL (TR101, TR102, TR103) MINIMALIST BOOTS:Due to the wider shape of the toe box, we have found that the MINI-MiL® tends to run on the small/short side. For this reason, we recommend customers order a half size up from your normal shoe size. For instance, if you wear a size 10, then we would recommend you order a 10.5 in the MINI-MiL®.

  • GET SOME BOOT SOCKS:Try on the boots with a pair of boot socks that you will normally wear with the boots.

  • PLACE & LACE:It is important that your foot is properly placed inside the boots when selecting a size. Proper foot placement requires that the lace is drawn snug at the bottom of the lacing system. This will prevent your foot from sliding forward too far and keep your heel properly placed against the back of the boot. To improve the fit of the boot, try loosening or tightening the laces at different parts of the boot until you get the perfect fit.

  • CHECK THE LENGTH:Length-wise, when your heel is placed against the back of the boot, you should have a slight amount of room in the front of the boots to wiggle your toes.

  • CHECK THE WIDTH:Width-wise, your boots should feel a little snug, but not tight.

  • TAKE A STROLL:Walk around to see how the boots feel. Make sure your heel stays in place and not sliding up and down (this can cause blisters).

WOMEN'S SIZES

Belleville does offer many boot styles that are specifically manufactured for women. All Belleville style numbers that begin with an "F" indicate a boot specifically designed and sized for women. If a particular style of boot is not available in women's sizes, we recommend ordering the boot 2 full sizes smaller.

Comfortable unless overtightened. Last boots lasted less than two years. These are a different model with a more flexible sole. Last boots sole cracked at pivot. These are more shock absorbing but not steel toe.

2nd pair and dont even need them yet, after 3 yrs daily and work and play wear and barely notice wear. Lightest most comfortable most durable boot (shoe even) I have ever owned and Ive been running the hills of N GA and TN for 50 years.Best boot ever.

Having worn Bellville's for many years I figured this purchase would be a guarantied good one. Unfortunately, immediately after putting on the boot I found it to be oddly narrow in the width compared to past Bellvilles (despite getting the wide version!). Furthermore, the nylon material in the ankle part of the boot is incredibly stiff and uncomfortable. Overall the boot feels much tighter than what you'd expect and there seemed to be alot of uncomfortable pressure points while wearing it.

these boots are very comfortable, would I say they're $200 comfortable probably not. they wore in quick, which made them comfortable quickly, but they wore out quick as well, barely lasted a year with mediocre use. (for army anyway)
