These boots are awesome. Easy to put them on and don't bother after wearing them for hours. I get compliments from friends and ask them where I got them.

Use 8 hours a day and mostly on vehicle patrol. Today was exactly 5 months since and the front ripped from the sole.

Outside lower lace section is not connected to the top lace section. This causes A PINCH POINT ON THE ANKLE BONE!!!!!!!

Be mindful of the toe box if your gonna wear thick socks which you should. Soooo glad i ordered a half size larger or it would be a tight and uncomfortable.

UPDATE: 05/11/22The left boot has failed completely (see third image). The leather has completely separated from the sole of the boot and is now useless. Guess I'll be going back to Bates.I have good news and bad news...I'll start with the good. The toe box has enough room and it quite comfortable. The lugs on the sole are quite deep and offer decent tread. The finish itself is pretty nice and will certainly complete a Class A uniform. Now the bad news.I switched over from my Bates Ultralite 8-Inch Side-Zip Boots. I loved those, held on to them for 2 years. They put me through thick and thin, but unfortunately the soles had become worn down and the leather had finally split. I found these at a decent price and decided to try them out. Now, I will preface this by saying I'm currently in the middle of my first day wearing them, so they may need broken in; however, the ankle area of the boots is a two-part assembly, instead of a traditional one-part assembly. This becomes horribly painful for the user. As pictured above, the ankle assembly folds in and pinches the very stiff leather against and into the ankle bones, creating a rather unpleasing experience. On another note, my particular boots came with a blemish in the finish of my right boot (seen pictured above). There are two stress marks in the leather on the toe of the right boot. And finally, the fit of the boot. I order an 11.5W in every set of boots I wear, and I must say that these are the narrowest wide boots I've ever worn. I genuinely thought I had received normal width boots. There's also an issue with the soles of the boots. They are so thick, that I cannot wear my orthotic inserts with the soles inside. With my Bates, and even a set of 5.11s I previously owned, I was able to keep both the orthotic and the standard boot sole inside for optimal comfort. Now, since my orthotic only goes about 2/3 the length of the foot (by design), I have to choose between pain in my hips, knees, and ankles, or pain in my ankles and toes (from the stiff leather and lack of sole underneath 1/3 of the foot). My verdict? If you're looking for a budget boot with good comfort, go for someone like Bates, or seek out shorter boots. My uniform compensation allows for 8 Inch Side-Zip specifically. The biggest flaw is the two-piece assembly for the boot lace panels. Unfortunately, I had to pitch my last pair of boots because of how worn and torn they were, so I don't have the ability to return these.

From the videos of these boots it showed they were to be tough. As you can see from the first pic that was the first night I kneeled down to work on a patient and the toe is no longer unscuffed or shiny. The toe box is much tighter than other regular width boots. Last night at work we had a rain storm. I was walking through about 3 inches of water. And spent the rest of the night with two wet feet. And I made sure I bought the waterproof version of these boots. I have to work in all types of weather. And I only buy waterproof boots. I guess they are not waterproof as advertised. I guess I will end up back with my Walmart boots. They are waterproof and cheaper. And these looked like great boots. I am beyond disappointed.

I think it's just my feet but the left ankle of the shoe folds after a while and hurts while I'm standing. Other than that the whole boot is perfect and I'm impressed!

They were ok but as soon as I got them noticed that the carbon fiber lace strap ruled against ankle and caused irritation the boot is only a month old and already have brakes in the toe area The zipper on one boot would catch on inner liner cause was stitched to close with not enough fold that caused it it catch when trying to zip up. Had high hopes for these boot buy my Wal-Mart brand actually outlasted surprisingly. They are completely water tight that was impressive.

Sizing

All of our boots are available in Men's Regular (R) and Wide (W) Widths, with some styles offering Narrow (N) and Extra Wide (XW) widths as well. Since sizes & widths vary among boot styles, please check individual boot styles for available sizes & widths.

Unfortunately, not all boot brands fit the same. For this reason, we would like to offer a few sizing tips that will help you get a better BELLEVILLE fit:

  • CHECK YOUR SIZE:Belleville boots are about 1 to 1½ full sizes larger in fit than your normal shoe size when measuring on a standard Brannock shoe device. The difference depends on the type of boot you choose: soft toe versus safety toe, hot weather versus insulated or waterproof, etc.

  • SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE MINI-MiL (TR101, TR102, TR103) MINIMALIST BOOTS:Due to the wider shape of the toe box, we have found that the MINI-MiL® tends to run on the small/short side. For this reason, we recommend customers order a half size up from your normal shoe size. For instance, if you wear a size 10, then we would recommend you order a 10.5 in the MINI-MiL®.

  • GET SOME BOOT SOCKS:Try on the boots with a pair of boot socks that you will normally wear with the boots.

  • PLACE & LACE:It is important that your foot is properly placed inside the boots when selecting a size. Proper foot placement requires that the lace is drawn snug at the bottom of the lacing system. This will prevent your foot from sliding forward too far and keep your heel properly placed against the back of the boot. To improve the fit of the boot, try loosening or tightening the laces at different parts of the boot until you get the perfect fit.

  • CHECK THE LENGTH:Length-wise, when your heel is placed against the back of the boot, you should have a slight amount of room in the front of the boots to wiggle your toes.

  • CHECK THE WIDTH:Width-wise, your boots should feel a little snug, but not tight.

  • TAKE A STROLL:Walk around to see how the boots feel. Make sure your heel stays in place and not sliding up and down (this can cause blisters).

WOMEN'S SIZES

Belleville does offer many boot styles that are specifically manufactured for women. All Belleville style numbers that begin with an "F" indicate a boot specifically designed and sized for women. If a particular style of boot is not available in women's sizes, we recommend ordering the boot 2 full sizes smaller.
